Ashley & Ismael

These two were sealed in the Bountiful, Utah, temple today, and I'm so glad I could document this special occasion in their lives. Ashley & Ismael are one of those couples that I look up to because they are always so sweet with each other and are just so in love! I've been dying to photograph Ashley's eyes for quite some time... so glad I finally got the chance. ;) Here's a sneak peek for them. :)

Let's look at Julie's beautiful face again, shall we? :) I loved these engagements! And I love what changing the white balance, adding some soft light, boosting the saturation, and sharpening the photo can do. Check it out:

Doesn't it just make you want to say YES!? Everything feels better when you've adjusted your photo to the right settings. And then the photo feels RIGHT. Love it.


Alright, time for Alabama info! As I mentioned in the previous post, I am planning a trip home to Alabama August 11th-25th, IF I can schedule enough photo shoots! I am now open to NEGOTIATING PRICES. Now is the perfect time to get those photos done that you have been wanting and putting off, because my prices will not be this low again! This is the last time I will be coming to Alabama until December, so take advantage of it now! Seniors, engagements, families, models, etc. I am happy to do almost anything. And don't feel silly if you'd love a photo shoot of just yourself for fun - those are actually some of my favorites, and I wish more people did those! Please tell your friends who may be interested, and have them e-mail me at jennieraephotography@gmail.com. Everything I make will go toward a potential study abroad program to Jerusalem in January. Alabama in August

Hello friends!

Normally I would not be paying a visit to Alabama until Christmas,

but I am now considering a visit home roughly between

*August 11th and 25th*

IF I can schedule at least 10 photo shoots during that time.

I suddenly find myself needing to save up for a potential study abroad, and would love any help toward this endeavor that I can get!

b&a monday + sneak peek

I need to start setting a permanent alarm on my phone reminding me about b&a mondays.. thank you for loving me through my periodic forgetfulness!

On Thursday, Katie & Zach from the previous post got married, and on Friday, Katie's family had a reunion and I got to photograph each beautiful family. It was so fun, and this little boy may have stolen my heart. Honestly. Just look at that bow tie. Could he be any cuter???

I will let you mull it over.

Katie & Zach: Bridals

These two lovebirds got married yesterday, so I thought now would be the perfect time to share their beautiful bridals. I LOVE THIS COUPLE. They are one of my favorites ever. So sweet with each other and natural in front of the camera. They make my job easy. We started out at the Oquirrh Mountain LDS temple  (SO glad we photographed here... since it was pouring yesterday!), and then finished up at the Thanksgiving Point gardens. Also, can someone please take me back to Thanksgiving Point?? Photographing there was a dream. I hope you enjoy looking at their gorgeous photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!

We photographed their first look. I love doing this. :)
