Meet Sydney and Evan... an adorable, fun, and photogenic couple that I loved working with! Sometimes shoots just put you in a good mood, and this was definitely one of those times. A big CONGRATS to these two who tied the knot in December. :)

So if posting pictures from fall isn't bad enough... how about we post some from summer! Yeah? :)

Say hello to MY family! We took these pictures last May in Alabama. A huge thanks to my friend Jessica for helping us take the big group shots! Also.. I promise I don't love my littlest nephew more than the others... he was just the only one still up for having his picture taken halfway through the shoot. Let's just say Alabama photo shoots are H-O-T and we usually have about a five minute window of getting anyone under the age of ten to smile. ;)

I love having these pictures because they remind me that family photos really are priceless, and that what I do as a photographer is meaningful. Family shoots can be the craziest I feel like (large groups, crying babies, uncooperative children, seemingly impossible to coordinate outfits, etc., etc.), but in the end they are so totally worth it. There's just nothing like having a good quality picture of all the people you love, together, in one place (even if, ESPECIALLY if, that's the farthest thing from reality).
