this is our apartment fund pig.

he sits on our fridge, and every month we each put $5 in him so we don't have to argue over who gets to pay for the toilet paper next. ;)

I just had to attend to life the last couple of days. :)

green: I was struggling to find something cool to take a picture of... but when my roommate made peas... for some reason I was entranced.. don't they look cool?!

night: I love this shot of my friends from outside. we spend a lot of nights hanging out in the living room, so it was fun to capture that.

well, this is exciting.

 so when I moved into my apartment almost 2 years ago, I had all of my toiletries in this travel bag.

I always planned on unpacking and organizing them,

but here I am.. almost 2 years later.. with all of my toiletries still in this bag. hahaha.

I hope that doesn't say too much about me...

okay, I lied again..

these shoes aren't mine. they're my friend jordan's.

BUT! I borrowed them tonight to go TUBING!!!! seeing as how I don't have any winter boots... (I'm on my 3rd utah winter bravin' it in converse. converse forever!)

also, tubing is wonderful. you should do it. tomorrow. :)

this post is funny to me.. because when I looked at all the days for the challenge, I saw the one about shoes and was all, "eep! I wonder which cute pair of shoes I will take a picture of!" and I end up taking a picture of boots that aren't even mine hahaha. :) it's all about the memories, people!

let's face it.

I hardly ever actually sit at my desk and work on homework or editing pictures.

I usually pull everything on my bed or sit on the couch in the living room.

(I enjoy comfort. and so does my tush. for example, I am currently on my bed...)

but I like to pretend I actually use my desk? :)

me laying upside down on the Y. :)

behind my college there is a huge "Y" on the mountain made of rocks painted white.

there's a trail to hike up there and people do it all the time.

this wasn't my first time hiking it, but it was my first time laying upside down on it!

I had heard how cool laying upside down on it was, but I had no idea it was going to be THAT cool!!

it was especially awesome because we hiked it at night, so when I hung upside down, I could see all the city lights.

but the city lights were in the "sky" because everything was reversed.. and the clouds in the real sky made it look like I was staring at a foggy ocean.

IT. WAS. INCREDIBLE.

I just can't describe how cool and breathtaking it was!!

it was also great because I faced a fear... for some reason it was terrifying getting my body to hang upside down on an incline haha!

so I made sure to have someone take a picture of me in that glorious moment. :)

this is the handwriting of my wonderful friend anna.

isaiah 41:10 is my favorite bible verse. anna knew this, and gave me this note one day in high school.

I can't remember why, but I'm pretty sure it was because I was scared or nervous about something and needed a little bit of encouragement.

well, a few weeks ago, I randomly found this note lying in the middle of my bedroom floor.

it was amazing, because I hadn't seen it in months and maybe years, and I found it when I was going through a difficult time and had actually been thinking about this verse.

anyway, I thought I'd share that cool story. I'm thankful for "coincidences" and ANNA. :)
